According to official statements from Israel, the evacuation of a site belonging to the UN Palestinian Relief Agency (UNRWA) in East Jerusalem has begun. The site served as a training center up until this point.

The evacuation takes place in the context of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's declaration that Israel will not allow an organization whose employees were involved in terror and the massacre of October 7 to operate on its territory.

Reports indicate that the Palestinian Authority has described the action as a violation of international law.

It is planned to convert the premises into a school in the future, further illuminating the intentions of the Israeli government in this context.
