Kallas urges EU to provide interceptor missiles to Ukraine
The head of European diplomacy called for the delivery of decommissioned missiles to Ukraine, warning of increasing Russian attacks.

Kaja Kallas, the head of European Union diplomacy, made a plea to member states to supply interceptor missiles that are nearing the end of their operational life to Ukraine. The statement came before an informal meeting of EU defense ministers.
Kallas warned that Russia is intensifying its attacks on civilians in Ukraine, aiming to break the population's resistance. According to her, this is a situation that requires immediate action from EU countries.

She emphasized the importance of effectively supporting Ukraine, especially at a time when the attacks are becoming more frequent and violent. Supplying weaponry, even if it consists of resources already considered obsolete, could make a difference in the current conflict.
This appeal comes amid growing concern in the EU about the escalation of hostilities and the need to strengthen Ukraine's defensive capabilities. The meeting among defense ministers will discuss ways to enhance this support.
