Ministry of Health and INEM meet with union ahead of strike
The Ministry of Health and INEM are holding a meeting today with the union of pre-hospital emergency technicians to discuss the scheduled strike in September.

The Ministry of Health, the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM), and the Union of Pre-Hospital Emergency Technicians (STEPH) are meeting today at 2:00 PM to address issues related to the strike scheduled for September 14 and 28.
According to information from ECO, this meeting aims to clarify the points that led to the strike and facilitate an understanding between the parties involved. The president of STEPH, Rui Lázaro, is present at the meeting.

Health Minister Ana Paula Martins was mentioned regarding a previous meeting with INEM, where she stated that the government and INEM have never refused dialogue, acknowledging the responsibility of INEM's mission.
The situation regarding the strike remains uncertain, as the union confirmed the continuation of the walkout, which could lead to the implementation of minimum services if no agreement is reached.
