Next Saturday, the 22nd, the ‘D Day’ of the National Multivaccination Campaign will take place all over Brazil. This initiative is aimed at children and adolescents under 15 years old, allowing them to catch up on the vaccines scheduled in the national calendar.

Guidelines include presenting the vaccination booklet, which health professionals will use to verify which doses have already been administered and which still need to be received. The campaign started on August 3 and covers the entire country.

In João Pessoa, vaccinations will also be conducted on this day, with various vaccines available, including BCG and the hepatitis B vaccine. Vaccination locations can be checked in the report from g1.

Cities such as São José, Taubaté, and Jacareí in the Vale do Paraíba will also participate in the mobilization. The emphasis will be on immunization against measles, given the recent increase in cases of the disease in the state.

Fortaleza will carry out three public health actions on Saturday, covering not only multivaccination but also a dental health campaign and a rabies vaccination campaign for animals. There will be 264 health facilities available with over 3,000 professionals involved.

In Belo Horizonte, the city government will conduct rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats, with more than 280 vaccination points available. Pet owners are required to bring their animals securely transported to the designated locations.
