Nicolas Cage and gubernatorial candidates feature on TV schedule this Monday

On Monday, September 14, 2026, several notable events are scheduled on Brazilian television. Among them is the airing of the film 'The Surfer', in which Nicolas Cage plays a man returning to his childhood beach in Australia to surf with his son and attempt to buy back the family's old home, according to Folha de S.Paulo.
In addition to the film, a series of interviews with candidates for state government will also be part of TV Globo's lineup. Anthony Garotinho from the Republicans will be the first to be interviewed on RJ1, where he will discuss relevant issues for the state of Rio de Janeiro during the 2026 elections.
