Nottingham Forest Agree £50m Deal for Chelsea's Liam Delap
Nottingham Forest have secured an agreement with Chelsea for striker Liam Delap, worth £50 million.

Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement with Chelsea FC to sign striker Liam Delap for a fee reported to be around £50 million. This deal includes an initial payment of £45 million, with an additional £5 million contingent on performance-related add-ons.
Chelsea has also opened discussions regarding the transfer of another forward, Nicolas Jackson, to Aston Villa. This comes as Xabi Alonso, Chelsea's manager, has made João Pedro and Danny Welbeck his priority strikers for the current season.
Delap, a former Ipswich player, has faced challenges in his performances since joining Chelsea. Forest's interest in Delap is part of their efforts to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

Several clubs had shown interest in Delap prior to this decision, indicating that Nottingham Forest was not the only team pursuing the striker.
As discussions progress, the situation around Jackson's potential transfer to Aston Villa will also be monitored, further impacting the forward dynamics at Chelsea.
