Nova University of Lisbon and University of Macau to Offer Nanotechnology Courses
Nova University of Lisbon and a university in Macau plan to launch joint nanotechnology programs in 2027/2028.

Nova University of Lisbon (UNL) is collaborating with a university in Macau to develop nanotechnology courses. This initiative aims to enhance the academic offerings in high-tech and innovation areas.
According to scientist Elvira Fortunato, the Chinese university intends to send master's and doctoral students to UNL starting in the next academic year of 2027/2028. This student mobility will take place under a joint supervision arrangement between the two institutions.

Specific details about the programs and fields of study are still pending finalization, but the proposal represents a new phase in international collaboration between universities.
This collaboration in nanotechnology could potentially bring benefits to both students from Macau and those at UNL by providing an expanded and diversified academic training.
