OA accuses AIMA of harming immigrant defense
The Order of Lawyers criticizes AIMA for inadequate resources and support channels for immigrants.

The Order of Lawyers (OA) has reported significant issues in the defense of immigrants related to the Agency for Integration, Migration, and Asylum (AIMA). According to the OA, following a visit conducted on August 19, insufficient resources were identified that compromise the effectiveness of immigrant defense.
Furthermore, the OA pointed out the existence of incorrect information on the AIMA portal, which could lead to misunderstandings and misinformation among immigrants seeking support. The lack of a permanent institutional channel for communication was also highlighted as a major shortcoming by the Order.
The OA emphasized that the absence of dedicated channels results in difficulties accessing essential services for immigrants. Complaints include the need for an online platform that can address service issues and facilitate the defense process.

According to the OA, the current situation undermines the ability of immigrants to receive adequate assistance, directly impacting their legal and social circumstances. The Order underscored the urgency of a review of AIMA's current practices to improve the situation.
The OA's criticism has been widely reported, garnering significant public opinion and attention among relevant authorities. The Order has requested a commitment from AIMA to address these issues effectively and immediately.
So far, AIMA has not publicly commented on the accusations made by the Order of Lawyers and the implications these may have for the Agency's management.
