Owen Ansah faces four-year ban due to doping violation
German sprinter Owen Ansah is confronted with a proposed four-year ban after refusing a doping test.
The National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) has proposed a four-year ban for German record sprinter Owen Ansah. This proposal comes shortly before the upcoming Athletics European Championships, where Ansah is considered one of the hopefuls.
One reason for the proposed ban is a refused doping test, which could lead to significant consequences. In this context, NADA is also calling for the stripping of titles that Ansah has won during the German Championships.
Owen Ansah, who competes for Hamburger SV, has already announced that he does not intend to accept the NADA proposal and plans to contest the decision.
