The National Police Union (Sinapol) has requested an urgent meeting with Finance Minister Miranda Sarmento. This request comes this month amid a context where negotiations between the union and the government have been stalled since July.
The Union of Police Professionals (ASPP/PSP) will decide on new forms of action in a meeting scheduled for September 10. This decision follows dissatisfaction with the lack of progress in salary negotiations and the working conditions of officers.
The request for a meeting reflects the need for dialogue between police unions and the government, aiming to resume the ongoing negotiations. So far, there has been no official response from the ministry.
