An experimental melanoma vaccine, developed as an RNA-based personalized therapy, has shown positive results in clinical trials. This approach combines RNA therapy with immunotherapy and aims to reduce relapses in patients who have undergone surgery.
The data indicated that the new vaccine contributed to a significant decrease in recurrences among operated patients, marking an important advance in the fight against this type of cancer. This is the first reported success in phase 3 for an antitumor agent using RNA technology.
