Rahul Gandhi Protests Outside Delhi Police Station over Pellet Gun Incident
Rahul Gandhi, alongside a pellet gun victim, staged a dharna outside a police station in Delhi demanding an FIR after officers refused to file one.

Rahul Gandhi sat on a dharna outside a police station in New Delhi, accompanied by Sahil Lochab, a student allegedly injured by pellet-gun fire during a protest on July 20. This protest was aimed at demanding the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) concerning the incident.
According to reports, the Delhi Police did not file the FIR, prompting Gandhi to take action. The area around the police station was barricaded by the police, and the gates of the Parliament Street police station were closed as Congress party workers and supporters attempted to enter, raising slogans in support of the protest.

During the protest, additional Congress leaders joined Gandhi, including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, further demonstrating the party's involvement and support for Lochab's case. The situation prompted the deployment of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) to manage the crowds and maintain order.
As the dharna continued, public attention focused on the demands for accountability regarding the use of pellet guns in the protest, highlighting ongoing tensions between law enforcement and protestors.
