Russia made a serious accusation on Thursday, claiming that France and the UK are 'playing with fire' by providing missile technology and drones to Ukraine. This statement was made by Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who expressed concern about the potential consequences these actions may have for Paris and London.

The statements came after the British and French leaders announced, during a meeting on Monday, an enhancement of military support for Ukraine, which displeased the Russian government. Zakharova emphasized that the situation is grave and that involvement in armed conflicts presents significant risks.

Additionally, Russia warned that it could target military sites in the UK in response to the use of British missiles by Ukrainian forces, which, according to Moscow, have been used in attacks against Russian territory. This warning includes the possibility of actions both within and outside of Ukraine in reaction to this escalated situation.

According to information released by the American press, the CIA has elements indicating that Russia is considering carrying out attacks against the Baltic countries, in addition to contemplating the use of nuclear weapons. These claims raise concerns about the potential escalation of conflicts in the region.

The spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated during a press conference that the damage caused by Ukrainian attacks, which have reportedly been facilitated by the provision of military technology from the UK, would be a sufficient reason to act. She called on London to cease what she described as 'hostile actions.'

These tensions have been exacerbated by Ukraine's recent offensive, which included the use of British cruise missiles. The consequences of this military support are now in focus as Russia intensifies its threatening rhetoric towards France and the UK and the increasing Western aid to Kyiv.
