Russian missile strikes hit Kyiv – Zelensky demands warning
Russian missiles have again been fired at Kyiv. President Zelensky and Mayor Klitschko lament the lack of warnings from allies.

On Tuesday evening, several Russian missiles were observed hitting a heating plant and a nine-story residential building in Kyiv. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Western allies had not provided any prior warning about the attack.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the strikes, reporting at least two fatalities and more than 20 injuries. These attacks represent a new escalation in the conflict.
Zelensky emphasized that Russia's attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure are linked to a deliberate disregard for an "energy truce" announced by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Reports indicate the attacks occurred on the second consecutive night without Ukrainian military personnel being notified in advance. This raises questions about the reliability of information from allies.
The Ukrainian government has strongly criticized the repeated lack of warnings. Both Zelensky and Klitschko hold the missing information accountable for the high number of casualties and damage.
Additionally, it was noted that at least 600,000 people were left without power due to the attacks. The situation in Kyiv remains tense as the city continues to face threats from airstrikes.
