State media reported that security forces have conducted multiple intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of several terrorists. In one operation, seven terrorists were killed in the Kharan district, specifically in the Lajay area, as part of Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3. During this operation, several terrorists sustained injuries, and security sources mentioned the recovery of weapons, ammunition, two vehicles, and a motorcycle from the terrorists' hideouts.

In another operation reported by state media, two terrorists were killed in the Killi Zaik area of Balochistan. This operation also led to the injury of three individuals. The authorities stated that the operation was initiated based on intelligence regarding terrorist activities in the region. During this IBO, security forces confiscated ammunition, hand grenades, and materials typically used for making improvised explosive devices.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed their support for the security forces’ efforts in combating terrorism. They acknowledged the risks faced by security personnel in these operations and emphasized their commitment to bolster actions against terrorist activities throughout the region.

The actions taken by security forces were highlighted as part of a broader strategy to address terrorism in Balochistan, which has been a region of concern due to the presence of various militant groups. The IBOs reportedly aimed to dismantle these groups and restore peace and security in affected areas.

These operations are part of ongoing efforts by Pakistani authorities to improve security and counter the threats posed by terrorist organizations in Balochistan. The government remains engaged in addressing these security challenges, as reported by various state media sources.
