Yadgar-e-Fatah Inaugurated in Islamabad Ahead of Independence Day
President Zardari and PM Shehbaz inaugurate Yadgar-e-Fatah to honor martyrs.

The Yadgar-e-Fatah monument was inaugurated in Islamabad on Thursday night, marking the eve of Pakistan's 80th Independence Day. The event was attended by prominent figures including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and military chiefs.
The monument is dedicated to honoring Pakistan's martyrs and commemorates the historic Marka-i-Haq. Key military officials present included Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of the Army Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral.
The inauguration was also attended by various ministers, foreign dignitaries, and families of martyrs, highlighting the significance of the event in contemporary commemorative practices in Pakistan.
