SpaceX rocket stage crashes into the Moon

Researchers at the European Southern Observatory in Chile have detected the impact of a part of a SpaceX rocket on the Moon. The scientists reported that they observed so-called spectral lines using several linked telescopes.

These observations confirm that the impact occurred as previously predicted. However, according to the researchers, an image of the impact is still pending, leaving this an open element of the investigation.
