Summer skiing on the Stelvio glacier stopped due to heat

Sifas (Society for Ski Lifts on the Stelvio) has informed operators and tourists about the closure of the summer ski slopes on the Stelvio glacier. The decision was made due to the high temperatures recorded in recent days, which have made skiing impossible.

According to sources, the heatwave is affecting not only the Stelvio glacier but has also led to the closure of summer skiing activities in several European locations, with only indoor slopes remaining open.
