Tax Hack: Crisis Cell to Meet Monday Under Lecornu's Leadership

Sébastien Lecornu will chair an interministerial crisis cell on Monday to address the tax data breach. According to Le Figaro, tax and personal information of 678,000 individuals, including both private citizens and businesses, has been compromised and put up for sale on the internet.

The tax administration acknowledged this breach of its systems on Friday, stating that nearly 700,000 victims are affected, as reported by Le Monde. The crisis cell aims to prepare information for those impacted.

Members of this cell will focus on managing the situation and communicating with the victims, whose access to their private data will be announced starting Monday, according to La Tribune.
