In Bishkek, authorities have temporarily adjusted the traffic routes of 25 bus lines due to road closures. These changes affect sections of Chuy Avenue and Jusup Abdrakhmanov Street. According to information from the city administration, the adjustments have become necessary to avoid traffic disruptions caused by construction work.

Initially, the changes for 16 bus lines were announced in connection with the closure of Chuy Avenue between Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue and Abdrakhmanov Street. This also affects direct connections to busy city districts and key transport hubs.

Further adjustments, which now also involve Jusup Abdrakhmanov Street, include the temporary rerouting of 9 additional bus lines. These measures were necessitated by a restriction of traffic flows in the specified area.

The city administration has announced that the new routes will remain valid as long as the works are ongoing. Specific timeframes for the removal of the traffic restrictions have not yet been disclosed.
