Twisha Sharma's Death: CBI Files Charges Against In-Laws
The CBI has filed charges related to dowry death and abetment to suicide in the case of Twisha Sharma, who was found dead in May.

Twisha Sharma's death, which occurred on May 12, has led to serious allegations against her husband Samarth Singh and mother-in-law Giribala Singh. According to reports, Twisha was found hanging at her marital home, prompting her family to allege that she suffered from dowry-related torture.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed charges including dowry death, cruelty, and abetment to suicide against the accused individuals. The agency's chargesheet mentions that Twisha's family has accused the in-laws of mental abuse and physical violence throughout her marriage.
A postmortem report indicated that Twisha sustained six injuries, which played a significant role in the investigation. The in-laws, however, purportedly attempted to frame her death as a suicide, contrary to the allegations made by her family.
