The president of Ceuta, Juan Vivas, expressed his concern over the apparent inaction of the Spanish government, suggesting that it might be an attempt not to upset Morocco. Vivas criticized the state's lack of responses, insisting that the autonomous city is in a dangerous situation.

In addition, Vivas warned that he would give a 30-day deadline to Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to address the current crisis. If the situation is not resolved, the president of Ceuta considers going to the Cortes, the judiciary, or Europe to seek solutions.
