Sánchez promotes a unified command for the Ceuta crisis led by Torres
President Sánchez announces the creation of a unified command and an economic plan to manage the crisis in Ceuta, under the direction of Minister Ángel Víctor Torres.

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has announced the creation of a unified command to manage the crisis in Ceuta, almost a month after the situation began. This new strategy will include an economic plan aimed at alleviating discontent over the management of the crisis.
Ángel Víctor Torres, Minister of Public Administration, will take control from the autonomous city, coordinating efforts among various ministries to address current challenges. According to reports, this unified command aims to improve the response to the crisis.
A new management body is expected to be formed that will include Torres, as well as the local president and the National Intelligence Centre (CNI). This structure seeks to ensure more effective coordination among the relevant authorities.

In addition to the unified command, substantial investments are being prepared in response to criticism regarding the lack of resources and swift responses to the situation in Ceuta. This approach aims not only to solve immediate problems but also to rebuild public trust.
The agreement was reached after meetings with the President of the Autonomous City of Ceuta, Juan Vivas, in an effort to unite efforts to tackle the crisis. This decision comes amid increasing pressure to improve government management in the region.
