Drivers can now check if their vehicles have been monitored by Flock cameras through a new website called HaveIBeenFlocked. The site has compiled a database of 4.6 million license plate records linked to approximately 242 million Flock searches, allowing users to see if their cars were captured by surveillance cameras.
Flock reportedly operates around 120,000 surveillance cameras across the United States. This initiative aims to provide transparency for drivers concerned about surveillance and data privacy regarding their vehicles. According to CBS News, the site seeks to assist many individuals in understanding how often their license plates have been scanned.
