The Competition Authority (AdC) has approved the purchase of Labina Group by Triplecast II and Emipinvest. The decision was made during a Board meeting on August 12, where it was concluded that the operation does not present significant hindrances to competition in the market.

In parallel, the AdC has also initiated the evaluation process for the acquisition of RsKalgar by Japgest. This operation involves exclusive control by Japgest through the purchase of the majority of the shares representing RsKalgar's capital.

The AdC issued statements regarding both approvals, detailing that the impact of the operations on the market was taken into consideration. According to the agency, a detailed examination of the competitive implications resulting from the transactions was conducted.

No additional details were disclosed regarding the companies' plans following the acquisition, nor about the strategies that will be implemented. However, the approvals indicate that the operations were deemed compatible with competition rules.
