DGArtes: Internationalization program includes 115 projects but excludes candidates
The Directorate-General for the Arts supported 115 projects, but a third of candidates were left out due to lack of funding.

The Directorate-General for the Arts (DGArtes) has announced that its internationalization program encompasses a total of 115 projects aimed at promoting Portuguese art in various countries. This program includes financial support totaling 1.035 million euros.
Of the candidates that applied, one third were excluded from the program. According to reports, this happened because the available funds were depleted, resulting in no support for 41 projects.

The selected projects aim to carry out artistic activities that will circulate in 58 countries, placing Portuguese art and culture in the spotlight in various international contexts.
Information about the program has been disclosed through multiple sources, with RTP highlighting both the scope of the support and the exclusion of candidates due to budget constraints.
