Hezbollah criticizes pressure of Lebanon-Israel agreement on army
Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem condemned the Lebanon-Israel agreement for putting pressure on Lebanon's armed forces.

Naim Qassem, leader of the Hezbollah movement, denounced today that Lebanese authorities are exerting excessive pressure on the Lebanese Army due to the implementation of the framework agreement signed with Israel. This agreement aims to disarm Hezbollah and gradually withdraw Israeli forces from southern Lebanon.
Qassem's statement comes amid heightened tensions, with Lebanon reporting the deaths of 11 people in airstrikes that Israel claimed targeted Hezbollah positions. The strikes coincided with U.S.-sponsored talks between Lebanon and Israel.

He expressed concerns that the pressure on the armed forces could compromise security and stability in the country. This situation has been described by various sources, including RTP and Free Malaysia Today, which highlighted the agreement's impact on regional dynamics.
Additionally, Hezbollah warned that any attempt at disarmament would have consequences, pledging an 'appropriate response' to any actions threatening its presence in Lebanon, as negotiations appear to be facing challenges.
