Number of Children's Accounts in Yandex ID Exceeds 2 Million
Yandex has published its annual report on child safety, documenting the use of children's accounts in Yandex ID, which are designed for safe use of digital services.
The Yandex team has released its annual report on the safety of children in digital and urban environments. The report includes data from the year 2025 as well as the first quarter of 2026.
According to the report, the number of children's accounts in Yandex ID surpassed the 2 million mark by the end of March 2026, representing a 15% increase within a year.
The children's accounts are utilized across various Yandex services, including the search engine, the company's own browser, Yandex Music, KinoPoisk, as well as Yandex Books and devices equipped with the digital assistant Alisa.
Dedicated content filtering has been implemented for the children's profiles to ensure that users are presented with age-appropriate content. This measure is part of Yandex's ongoing efforts to protect children while they browse the internet safely.
