Orange heat alert: 13 departments affected this weekend
Météo-France has issued an orange heat alert for thirteen departments this weekend, including Ain and several departments in Savoie.
For Sunday, Ain, as well as other departments such as Savoie, Haute-Savoie, and Isère, will be under an orange heat alert, according to Météo-France. This alert also applies to Rhône, Alpes-Maritimes, Ardèche, Drôme, Gard, Var, Vaucluse, and the two departments in Corsica.
Additionally, for Saturday and Sunday, the orange alert will apply to twelve departments in the center-east and southeast, with temperatures potentially reaching 38 °C, reports 20 Minutes.
