Outback and Mocotô shine in São Paulo's best restaurant voting
Outback is named the best restaurant in shopping malls, and Mocotô is recognized as the best for Brazilian cuisine, according to a survey.

According to a survey conducted by Datafolha, Outback was voted the best restaurant to visit in shopping malls by residents of São Paulo. Customers highlighted dishes such as ribs on the barbie and the petal-shaped onion, which are part of the establishment's popular menu.
The restaurant Mocotô, located in Vila Medeiros, was named the best Brazilian restaurant for the ninth time in the same survey. The establishment, known for its focus on northeastern Brazilian cuisine, received 6% of mentions in the category.
In addition to Outback and Mocotô, Famiglia Mancini also stood out. This restaurant, located on the charming Avanhandava street, was recognized as the best for family dining, attracting both locals and tourists since its opening in 1980.

Riscall, also mentioned in the survey, was voted the best restaurant in shopping malls and for family dining. The unit, located in the Pátio Higienópolis shopping mall, was busy on a Thursday evening before a holiday, with numerous groups waiting to enter.
These recognitions reflect São Paulo's gastronomic diversity, with restaurants offering everything from typical local dishes to international options. The survey was conducted rigorously, taking consumer preferences into account.
The results were announced on August 17, 2026, highlighting the importance of public choice in defining the city's best restaurants, which continues to develop as a significant gastronomic hub.
