Édouard Philippe, president of the Horizons party, announced his intention to organize a rally of the right and center between November and February. He expressed his vision during a campaign visit to Mayotte and Réunion, where he shared his views on BFMTV.

Meanwhile, Raphaël Glucksmann, co-founder of Place Publique and an MEP, confirmed his candidacy for the presidential election in 2027. In an interview on TF1's '20 Heures', he stated that he has been preparing for months and is determined to participate to win.

Glucksmann also specified that he will take part in the primary organized by the Socialist Party and Place Publique, scheduled for October. His candidacy aims to unify the left around his social-democratic platform.

As the race prepares, questions remain about Glucksmann's ability to outperform iconic left figures like Jean-Luc Mélenchon in the first round. Voting intentions within the left outside of LFI place him in a favorable position, but his chances of qualifying for the second round remain uncertain.
