Richa Parashar, a three-month pregnant journalist from the news website Oneindia, has alleged that Rahul Gandhi pushed her during a protest. Following this incident, she has been admitted to a hospital in Delhi for medical attention, according to reports from NDTV.

In an interview with NDTV, Parashar stated that Gandhi pushed her and also struck her cameraperson. She described the encounter, which she claims was captured on video, saying, "Right after he pushed and yanked me, he struck my cameraperson hard. You must have seen it all clearly in the video."

The Congress party has responded to Parashar's allegations, labeling them as false. The party's representatives have dismissed the claims, stating that they are part of a disinformation campaign against Rahul Gandhi.

The incident occurred during a protest, where Parashar alleges she was grabbed and thrown to the ground by Gandhi. The BJP has echoed her claims, accusing Gandhi of physical assault against the journalist.

Amit Shah, a senior BJP leader, criticized Gandhi, framing the incident as consistent with a pattern of behavior reflecting Congress's political failures. He stated that the Congress party has been losing elections for decades across several states, including West Bengal and Tripura.

In addition to the incident involving Parashar, BJP leaders have voiced their disapproval of a separate video showing Gandhi pushing past others, including Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, which they consider disrespectful to the state's leadership.
