Range Rover Electric: First Fully Electric SUV Launched at High Price
Range Rover has launched its first fully electric model, priced at nearly €180,000 and offering a range of 600 km.

Range Rover recently introduced its first fully electric SUV, the Range Rover Electric. This model comes a year late and marks a significant step for the British brand, active since 1970. The electric SUV is equipped with a dual motor that delivers 550 hp and 850 Nm of torque, resulting in impressive performance figures.
The Range Rover Electric features a 118.5 kWh battery and an 800-volt architecture, allowing for a charging speed of 350 kW. Consequently, the electric SUV can charge from 10% to 80% in about 22 minutes. The claimed range is up to 600 km on a full charge, making it attractive for long journeys.
The starting price for the Range Rover Electric is £154,070, which corresponds to nearly €180,000. This positions the vehicle among the most expensive electric SUVs on the market, according to calculations from Bloomberg. The high pricing raises questions about the vehicle's positioning within the luxury segment.

Orders for the new model have already opened, giving customers the opportunity to purchase this advanced vehicle. First deliveries are expected to take place in early 2026, although the exact timeline may vary. This allows interested buyers to prepare for the SUV's arrival on the market.
With this model, Range Rover launches a luxury vehicle that focuses not only on performance but also on new technologies, such as the advanced electric powertrain and charging infrastructure. It represents a strategic move for the brand, adapting to the growing demand for electric vehicles.
The Range Rover Electric can be seen as a response to changing consumer expectations and the trend toward sustainable mobility. This new model joins an ever-growing list of electric vehicles that are shaping the future of the automotive industry.
