In the early hours of Thursday, the Civil Guard found itself overwhelmed by a large influx of swimmers at the border of Ceuta. Maritime rescue specialists worked intensively to assist those affected.
The effort of the rescuers was remarkable, particularly highlighted by the joy of having saved a baby and their family during the operation in the autonomous city. The conditions at sea and the number of swimmers complicated the situation for the rescue teams.
