Cybercriminals within the group ZeroBytes have announced that they sold data on tens of thousands of taxpayers, obtained by "two individuals" for a sum amounting to "thousands of euros." This announcement follows a massive cyberattack targeting the General Directorate of Public Finances in France.

According to reports, at least 678,000 individuals and businesses are affected by the data breach, raising concerns about targeted scams that could result. The hackers claim to be French and continue to assert that the data is still available for sale.

The group ZeroBytes stated that they have already sold their haul to two buyers, highlighting the severity of this cyberattack in terms of its scope and potential consequences for the victims.
