Typhoon ‘Dolphin’ causes power outages and flight cancellations
Typhoon ‘Dolphin’ is causing significant power outages in southern Japan and disrupting air traffic in the region.
According to ORF, Typhoon ‘Dolphin’ has left around 14,000 households in Japan without electricity. Weather conditions in the southern part of the country are severely affected.
Deutschlandfunk reports that the storm has also led to numerous flight cancellations in Japan, Taiwan, and China. However, the exact number of affected flights has not been specified.
