Memphis Depay has apologized following the release of a music video featuring him setting fire to the headquarters of Corinthians, shortly after extending his contract with the club.
On Thursday night (20), Corinthians defeated Rosario Central 1-0, securing a spot in the quarter-finals of the Libertadores. This is the first time the club has advanced to this stage since 2022.
Estudiantes and Platense reached the quarter-finals after victories in Chile, while Rosario Central faces Corinthians in the return leg of the round of 16.
Corinthians announced the renewal of Memphis Depay's contract, which will keep him at the club until July 2028, just a week after his announced departure.
