Iran and Oman negotiate over Strait of Hormuz
Negotiations over the Strait of Hormuz are intensifying. Iran has made new demands to the USA and wishes for their exclusion from the talks.

According to reports from Luxeburger Wort and Deutschlandfunk, Iran and Oman are close to reaching an agreement regarding the dispute over the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have emphasized that the USA should be excluded from the negotiations.
At the same time, Iran has laid down new extensive demands to the USA, which must be met for the opening of the strategically important waterway. Details regarding these demands have not yet been disclosed.
